The Comedìa collection is yet another act of love by Visconti towards the city of Florence, cradle of the Italian Renaissance and symbol of the craftsmanship that distinguishes our creations. Meticulous attention to detail and love for art and human culture are values that Visconti has always pursued, embodied in the development of this collection.
The collection celebrates the literary genius of Dante Alighieri, born in 1265 in Florence and unanimously considered the greatest Italian poet who ever lived. The collection takes its name from Dante's most important work, the "Comedy", later known as the Divine Comedy.
To reflect the literary scheme of the Divine Comedy, divided into three canticles, the collection is made up of three different models: Inferno, Purgatory and Paradise. Each model was designed with resins and metalwork designed to best express the imagery of each song: black and red with ruthenium finishes for Hell, taupe and gray with palladium finishes for Purgatory, and white and light blue with yellow gold finishes for Paradise.
The three models are united by a special band characterized by two bands covered with a hammered texture - a detail that is also found in the special metal section of the pens. Each band is then individually engraved by our craftsmen with the writing "Comedia" followed by the name of the specific model.
